Mulligan Technique is a manual therapy that works on the joints of the extremities and spine to create increased pain free movement. This technique focuses on creating mobilization of joints with movement while the practitioner applies an accessory gliding technique. This accessory glide can be applied manually or with a Mulligan belt to assist with directional movement. Education for self-treatment is also possible when using mobilizations with movement and the practitioner can use adhesive therapy tape to assist with this pain free movement.
