Jonathan was born in Toronto and grew up in Oakville with his parents and younger brother. Jonathan was a competitive swimmer and rower, then realized cardio is not for him. He also enjoyed wrestling, boxing, tennis and Olympic weightlifting but found his passion in bodybuilding and powerlifting. Jonathan knew he wanted a career in health care from a young age. When he had bouts of back pain during his career as a rower, a chiropractor got him back to the sport. This experience inspired him to pursue a similar path: helping people get back to the things they have to do and being the practitioner who enables a patient to keep doing the things they love.
Jonathan completed his Bachelor of Science with a Life Science Major and Economics Minor at Queen’s University in Kingston and graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Jonathan empowers patients to live without pain and improved function. In his experience, Jonathan finds a variety of techniques as well as collaboration with patients to find alternative movement patterns and strategies to manage pain in their daily lives, creates best outcomes:
Jonathan enjoys working with all patients: athletes, office workers, students, labourers and weekend warriors of all ages each have something to teach him. One of the most rewarding parts of his career is seeing his patients improve and return to the activities they love. Just like he did.
Jonathan enjoys cooking, baking, fitness, reading, and gaming in his off-time.
