Emilie graduated with Honours from Georgian College with an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy and began practicing in 2014. Her love for dance and movement combined with her passion for helping people made Massage Therapy an appealing and fitting path to follow.
Emilie believes in a holistic approach to healing – mind, body and soul. She is passionate about living a healthy, positive lifestyle and enjoys sharing her recipes and practices with clients. Her goal is to decrease pain and discomfort and promote healing by relaxing the bodies’ mental and physical state. She hopes to help others become more self-aware, happy and healthy.
Emilie utilizes a variety of massage techniques including: Swedish massage, manual lymph drainage, trigger point release, myofascial release and hydrotherapy. She has also completed a Pregnancy Massage course and offers treatments side-lying or using a pregnancy pillow designed to allows mom’s to lie face down.
In 2018, Emilie traveled to Thailand where she completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification. She applies her knowledge and training in Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga and meditation to offer stretches, and mindfulness techniques for homecare to enhance treatment and overall wellness.
